retrocarclub
Would 16" alloy wheels with a offset of ET35 fit okay on my Mk1 Cavalier? At the moment i've got a set of 15" ATS Classics but I can't remember what offset they are. Thanks Christian
gunman
They'll sit back into the arch a bit, really depends what width of rim we're talking about?

Shuviteer
Whats the chance you could try one to see how it looks??? Cheers, Colin. I've got a set of 17's that came off a Manta hatch that have an offset of 40, and they fitted ok.
retrocarclub
They are either 7.5 or 8" depending on wheel.
gunman
OK, going by the std manta GTE rims, they are 6" (150mm for arguments sake) on an et30. going to 8" will put an extra 25mm each side if you maintain a 30 et, 35 will put an extra 5mm again in the inside. you'd need 20mm extra clearance arch side and 30mm extra clearance on the inside. that could be asking a bit much, esp if its lowered. retrocarclub
Ok thanks Mark. So would you recommend a lesser offset? Something like ET20-
gunman
Ideally yes, thats not to say the 35 wont fit. et25 on a 7.5" rim would be the best option IMO.
