manta400john Posted April 27, 2009 Share Posted April 27, 2009 Have just collected a clutch kit (luk repset) for a D-reg GT/E. I checked the box in the shop and noticed the cover has 6 bolt holes where it mounts to the fly wheel. I commented on this and got the guy to recheck it was the right one....yes,right one. It is the later type clutch and correct for a 2 litre GT/E. I replaced the clutch recently on my own GT/E(B-reg) and it bolted to the flywheel with 4 bolts. I have a spare gear box so checked the new disc goes on the splines which it does. Do later GT/E engines have a different flywheel or have I been sold an 1800cc clutch kit. John.
