I only joined the club last week. Picked up the Cavalier Sportshatch [1600 GLS] on Friday, hope to see you all on Saturday at Billing. Dripping out of the breather pipe right by the exhaust (well there used to be a breather pipe there). So its the time i had to borrow another car the white Ford Escort. So i know what its like mine was the night before i was due to go bit of a mad rush. Is yours breather Mick or breather pipe or fuel pipe. maher the hermit Posted July 9, 2009 Share Posted July 9, 2009 just had to get underneath car its pissing petrol out when i turned it round faceing upwards on the drive, think ive found the little pipe well thats not what i called it when i found it attached to a T piece the top of the tank, lucky had another bit of pipe stashed away fingers crossed its ok but tank is coming out after billing to replace the lot i,m not risking a leaking tank when i fill it next time Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Big B i200 Posted July 11, 2009 Share Posted July 11, 2009 Was all packed ready to leave and meet up with Jock, Keith et all, but woke up at 5am with stabbing pains in my back, Kidney Stones, called NHS 24 and had a doc out by 6:15am who jacked me up on morphine, helped with the pain but no driving heavy machinery, or anything for that matter. Went to docs at 10:50 still fleeing and feeling cack, gave me more heavy duty tablets, so deffo no driving. Had a few thoughts about trying to still go, but the thought of being on all 4s in pain in a tent(that sounds rude) or stuck on the M6 in agony did not fill me with joy, another Billing missed. I have tried for 4 years to get there and this year I have to be let down by my health........need to see if there are any other shows I can go camping at, once I get these wee buggers zapped.
