I traveled to Bruntingthorpe airfield near Leicester from Berkshire in my blue A series on Sunday. The reg on my car is very similar to the one you mention CPO...L, however I made it home OK without the need for breakdown services....... Spooky!!!! When i saw the number plate i knew it was familiar but this one was not a patch on yours ,and i dont think it would have made it to Bruntingthorpe with out the breakdown truck.
