omgte1985
I am having problems with the main beams, ie they will not stay up. The sidelights and headlights work fine and the main beam will flash but will not lock on. It looks as if there should be a relay in the circuit but one is not obvious. Can anyone confirm that the relay is incorporated into the main beam switch? The wiring has been checked by an auto electrician who can only conclude that the problem lies with the main beam switch operated by the stalk as everything else is ok. I have tried another switch and stalk that I had spare, but what are the chances of two being faulty? Anyone else come across this problem? Thanks
stradacab
I had the problem on my Monza, the main/dip switch is remote below the adjustable bit. Althought the Manta is on the switch, it sounds like a switch problem. It's not one I've come across on mt Manta but try another switch first. cam.in.head
the change between dip & main beam is done with the stalk only.there is no main beam relay that locks in or out.the lever should click when pulled toward you & go into main beam.then click again when doin the same & go back into dip beam. either the switch is faulty or something is blocking it pulling fully forward.
