Chris M
Hi I need a replacement rear speaker in grey for my GTE coupe. The paper cone inside has split on mine so it sounds poor. If a pair are only available then that's ok. Thanks
Beaker
Can you post/send a picture or give dimensions. If you get stuck paper cones can be fixed with masking tape and then painted over to strengthen. This technique has been used on pa/music speakers for years and a similar principle worked for the wings of aircraft back in the 30's. If the cone surround is made of cloth and has split the same technique will work. Neoprene rubber cone surrounds have to be replaced though. Chris M
Tried that and unfortunately most of the aftermarket speakers available in that diameter are too deep for the Manta plastic casing. Thanks for response. Still looking!
