upk
hi all, following my recent experience with intermittent brake loss i have found the culprit. a damaged seal in the master cylinder!! can anybody help with a new seal kit or point me in the right direction?? ate 20mm diameter think the master cylinder is the same as the gte but the fluid resovoir bottle in the photo was off my 'A' so dont let that confuse you. ta kev (aka upk)
paulmanta
You need to talk to Pastparts, they rebuild master cylinders and have just done one for me. they are good, they relined one and resealed it for my Ascona and i had it back quickly, t did cost £100 though. Brakes are pretty critical though, its a pest if the car does not start but lethal if it does not stop. http://www.pastparts.co.uk/reman.htm
