jim nolan
anybody get a load of this supposed exculsive ? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Opel-Manta-Exclusive_W0QQitemZ330362175040QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item4ceb1ebe40&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
Fermanta
I`ve actually seen the car Jim & it's a pretty good shell from what I could see. The guy that owns it is or was a member here and is sound to deal with. I would have had it but by the time I`d transport it home it would have worked into it's price. And I'd have been told to live in it. Edited September 23, 2009 by Fermanta
Rick-Manta
^ That's half the battle ain't it? £100 is nothing to ask for a manta shell, especially an exclusive but unless you have your own beavertail truck you have to 'shell' out more
Shuviteer
Guy near me delivers. He once charged me 210 to fetch a car from south London, a round trip of about 470 miles, so not bad. He's in Bradford.
Fermanta
Hi Steve, It would be well worth buying if on mainland UK but I meant to have it transported over to Ireland and that would add the guts of £3-350 on top of price. Thing is though it'd probably tow on an A-frame if anyone was half local! Oh and thanks again for collecting the wings for me
mantasrme
I remember taking Steve down to mid wales to collect this car on my trailer last year, was just a rolling shell then but looked solid. Sure there was a topic on here somewhere showing the work in progress when the little welding it needed was done. So it should be a good project car for someone. Oh and i have a couple (ok 4) spare back window's just up the road from it in harrogate that the winning bidder can have if they want. I'd offer to help with the delivery but i won't have a replacement tow vehicle until end of the month.
