Can't read much of the text but I have kind of worked out it's pumping out 296bhp. I rather like it. Very stealth with the 1.8 badge on the back.

Those engines were a fortune back in the nineties. I remember getting a copy of the Irmscher Classics brochure along with the price list and the 4.0 24v engine for the Senator was some serious money.

Some details:

200 kW = 272 BHP

original Irmscher C40SE with big-end bearing and camshaft damage

catalytic converter

Getrag 265

SKT front axle

HIPO ss exhaust from cat.conv.

Matter roll cage

Brakes Ø 296 front (Porsche discs) Ø 279 rear

sports suspension kit

rear axle 3.18 with 75% lsd and Watt linkage

strut braces ffront and rear

reinforced (track) control arms
