biffy1984
Hi, I'm looking for a genuine 3 piece boot spoiler for my coupe. If I don't find one shortly i'll have to by a new fibreglass one http://www.m-99.co.uk/Car_Bodykits/Opel_Manta_400/opel_manta_400.html http://www.speedydelivery.co.uk/car-bodykits-styling/opel-manta-400.shtml I would be a bit worried the fibreglass one wouldn't fit properly so if anyone has had any experience with these spoilers a bit of advice would be good Cheers, Peter. 2908642343
Biffy; A word to the wise on the link that you put up to M99 and Speedy Delivery, both of these have a bad reputation for taking money from the public and not delivering any goods. There was a website that went into great details about the problems. John
daverwd
Hi, I'm looking for a genuine 3 piece boot spoiler for my coupe. I bought a 3piece fibreglass rear spoiler from rallytech, the spoiler fits ok, the middle boot section is fine to look at from the top but the under side is an open hollow section. I did ring them about it to see if they could make one that is a closed unit , they said there was no other way to make the middle section other than with an opening so the layers of fiberglass could be placed into the moulds. They did say they would see if they could produce some kind of blanking plate to seal off the opening under the middle section of the spoiler after i explained how all the opening would do is attract dirt up inside the spoiler when driving the car especially on a wet day. But i never heard from them again and thats over 6 months ago . If you decide to buy the 3piece from rallytech & they have come up with a way of sealing up the middle section please PM me ... biffy1984
Thanks for the replies. Simon, that would be great. My email address is bovrobertson@yahoo.co.uk Think I'll stay away from the fibreglass copies in that case, and I certainly don't want any hassle with paying and not receiving the items! Cheers, Peter.
