xecoupe Posted April 19, 2010 Share Posted April 19, 2010 (edited) Hi guys. im looking a 400 body kit for my 1800 hatch. im in lisburn N.I hello mate, there is a site you could try called ( M-99.co.uk ) if you type that into your browser the correct site should pop up. they sell complete kits and also individual components. i am not sure what the quality is like but they are fibreglass and come in white ready for prepping and painting. worth a look i think. Heard a few bad stories about them from a while back though i can't say for sure as i've never used them. I'm sure someone else will be on here to confirm my suspicions. lepo5 Posted April 19, 2010 Share Posted April 19, 2010 keep well clear of m-99 as has been said before, there is a guy in the west midlands who does kits, made from the original irmscher moulds, and are of the highest quality, i think i have passed on the details to you over on totalopel, if you need his contact info, let me know and i'll pass it on to you. Or do you mean taken a mould from an original kit? he made a mould from a proper kit, martins kits are pretty good from what I,ve seen, pretty similar to the rally tech ones but he does not do a 400 bonnet from memory. To get the facts straight here, the kits are made from the ORIGINAL IRMSCHER MOULDS, not a mould from another kit, martin also does 400 bonnets as well. He has supplied parts to specialists world wide and has even enjoyed several beers round at Gunther Irmschers house on more than one occassion!
