I think you will find that it is the valve seats that you have to change, not the valves, that was the case with my 2.0 CIH engine, the bill for that particular job was £75.00 back in 1998, off course gaskets will have to be bouught as well when you replace the head, I had a spare head, so I had that one done, which meant taking the car off the road only for a few hours to change the heads after it came back from the machine shop.
