Manta B Washer Bottle

I Went to billing on Sunday & noticed everyone has a huge square washer bottle. I seem to have a small cylinder shape one that just looks out of place seeing everyone elses. Im guessing i need the bracket to keep it in place also.

If no one can help me, does anyone make any metal ones that are nice n shiny?

Is your car an Exclusive or a Cavalier? They had round washer bottles as standard, only the non-Exclusive Mantas had square ones.

Its an Exclusive yes. It looks a bit weird after seeing the square ones. Aswell as my non adjustable n/s mirror that im trying to sort. Do you think i should keep my round one for the original look. Even though my exclusive is not totally original

Completely up to you, but I wouldn't see any reason to change it!

The large ones are now getting very hard to find and i sold my last one to Paul B on Sunday. PM John Rowbotham as he did have a nice shiny one that was made by Clive, he might sell if your cross his palm.

As for the bracket you'll need to knock something up, they are not that complex to make

Cheers

To be honest - I would stick with the original one that you have at the moment. It will be easier to keep an eye on what is going on underneath.

From experience, the round ones are less likely to leak and any damp on that part of the bulkhead will result in a rusty hole within a matter of weeks! If you have a hole on the bulkhead under the washer bottle it is usually a bit touch and go as to whether the car will pass an MOT as you are getting perilously close to the top mounting of the o/s front shock absorber. My Silver B failed on this a couple of weeks ago and the rot was 29cm from the damper mounting.....typical!

Andy - I still owe you for that....must sort out a cheque for you - is that ok ?
