Goose
I require a petrol tank for my 1984 Manta GTE Hatch. Will the petrol tank from a standard hatch or coupe fit or does it have to be from a GTE Hatch? Im locaterd in Dunblane Scotland, just round the corner from Rab. spiney_norman
The coupe tank's completely different, they fit inside the boot. A hatch tank for a car with a carb can be made to fit, you just need to add a fuel return.
OPEL PARTS GREECE
You can use the 1.2 or 1.6 tank BUT with the same type of chassis like yours (from hatch to hatch and from coupe to coupe)! You have to replace the output hose of 8mm to 12mm and the return can be done to the upper hose of ventilation to 8mm If you will use the same output 8mm the fuel pump (since it will have less/equal flow than pressure)will be damaged VERY soon (will start from making noise till......it will die!!) mantadoc
Put hatch in the title to improve your chances. Frost do products to repair and seal porous tanks without welding.

hedcase
I think Northern Radiators make new tanks. You can find them on the web.
