cam.in.head Posted October 26, 2010 Share Posted October 26, 2010 when you say your head is not getting enough oil. you didnt fit a later non grooved cam to an early head did you? the early cams are grooved around front bearing to let the oil flow past it & into the rest of the head. later type cams usually do not have this groove. if its the standard cav head then i suspect this could be your problem. ?? the cam needs removing & a groove machining into it. see old one IM REALY REALY SORRY MATE.
