Exclusive Opel
Anyone know where this would be used? It came out of a bottom end conversion gasket set for a CIH engine. I know I've never used one before. It's approx 12mm diameter with a 7mm centre hole and is 3mm thick and made from cork. Just curious to where it fits. Julian
The only time I ever used a gasket like that was on a distributer, but that was on older engines years ago. It does look like a Polo Mint though Hang on to it, you may be looking for something like that one day, as you usually do after it's been binned Have a trouble free New Year
Exclusive Opel
Had a rummage in my gasket box spares today and found another from several years back but made of felt this time! Obviously wasn't needed then either so it'll just have to remain one of life's little mysteries. Happy New Year
MANTAMAN
Could possible be intended to go between the head and the block to seal the oil feed to the head.
