This is a bad day for me, think its time to be a grown up and buy a house. Looking at a few and sorting a mortgage now so things will have to go to pay solicitors and fees. No Mortgage, No sale I would keep it.

SKD 48T Mk1 2000GL in very good condition with only 43K from new, was a 1600 but I fitted a rebuilt 2 litre so it would be the same as my Dads old car. Currently hidden away from winter and salt but will be out to get a Full MOT when a sale looks likely.

Won 2nd in the Cavalier/Ascona class at Billing 2009 only beaten by Ian Goachers fantastic Ascona B.

I have an Unleaded head to fit before the sale as there is an oil leak from the front of the head so I will do both jobs in one. Might need the Varijunk carb setting up again.

4 matching 185/70 13's with only about 5000 miles on them, all wheels recently sandblasted and painted silver, new exhaust rear box, new rear wheel cylinders and front shocks.

Has a genuine GM swanneck towbar with single electrics only used once to tow a caravan to Billing

Paint is good all round, 2 minor chips on the nose one stone, one Pheasant, bottom of doors are good only slight marks creeping through the paint if you look close.

See if there is any interest and then I know where I stand with it and keep it away from Ebay.

£1250 ish open to near offers and lastly its just outside Lincoln.

Lovely car Mick i remember it at Billing as it is parked just in front of my red Sportshatch in the OMOC judging line.

Good luck with the sale that seems a very fair price. :thumbup

It's a tough time of year to sell a car if you can hang on to the spring you will probably have a much better chance of achieving a good price.

It will be a sad day when this car leaves lincoln. This is a very good car and cheap for these days, the wheels were - shot blast to bare metal, painted in Astro silver base coat and laquered, I know I did them, the engine is superb,it's one of mine. if you are looking for a Cav look no further!

Hi, thanks for the interest. The house fell through so Im keeping hold of it. It was a difficult choice to sell but I really couldnt do it in the end. It sold but the reality of that and the house not looking likely made me change my mind and keep it.

Keep an eye on Ebay they pop up quite often, was a 50K miles one owner car went for £410 this week which looked good, 1600L in blue needing paint on there now...
