Has Anyone Bought A White Gte From Sheffield?

I've been speaking to a mate called Steve from Sheffield today who had a white GTE coupe Manta last time we spoke. I'd asked him if he would come to the new Sheffield area meeting and he told me he had sold his project Manta as his garage landlord had cut the power off to the garages where he was restoring this car. I'm not sure about the full registration number but remember the first bit being E28..... Steve had carried out a lot of work to this coupe including fitting a new four bar grille, making new chassis rails and various other bits of welding. I remember the body looking really rough but it had good running gear and an immaculate Chicago grey interior. I sold him a blue non sunroof roof that I'd cut off a Manta B coupe in the scrapyard so he might even have fitted this or included this in the sale. I just wondered if the car was still around and if so, where it is now, and what state it's in.... The garages it was kept in were featured on Top Gear last year when Jeremy Clarkson bought the Reliant Robin and kept rolling it over. The garages he sets off from and rolls it for the first time are where the Manta was. Luke.
