Ive got an Opel Manta A Series project and getting hold of certain parts is proving to be a pain. Auction websites seam to be my life line at the moment but I just wonderd if there are any specialist shops for selling Opel Manta parts out there, if so could you list them for me. There are also a couple of other companies in Germany who use the german Ebay. To find parts in the UK you need to join the club and take advantage of the great spares network between club members. 611 Posted July 8, 2011 Share Posted July 8, 2011 It depends what your after. I have an A im rebuilding and have found lots of places to get bits. Some time it depends on how much you want to pay and if its new you are looking for. Google DR manta in germany he has lots of A bits, but expensive. Opel GT source in the US do some A bits as well. Lots of seals and bearing you can get from other places, and some of the vauxhall classics places might be able to help as well. If its panels theres a post on parts for sale (cant rember the name of who it is that can get them) Might be worth putting up a list and then im sure people will post lots of helpful places you can get stuff from. maybe we need a where to get parts section? opel2000 Posted July 9, 2011 Share Posted July 9, 2011 Don't forget ro try Motor Factors for parts, such as Brake pads, cylinders, timing chains, etc etc. a lot of parts were Generic across Vauxhall/Opel range and as such are still available, what I have found over the years though is that some Motor Factors are more willing to help than others. Been many a time when walking into a Motor Factors when they have laughed at the words "I need a part for an Opel Manta" only to see them swallow their laughs when they say "Blimey still available and we have one in stock" Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dr-manta.de is one, and Leidinger-tuning.de is another alternative they have alot of sheet metal parts at more affortable prices than Dr Manta. Also i myself is getting all bolt on parts for Manta A made in fibreglass from original parts (frontwings, doors, hood etc). Will be available late fall / winther. Last but not least , PS-Autoteile.de is also a great site especially for interior parts, carpets, roof lining, rubber bushings and all kind of small stuff that you can´t find in good condition used.
