opelscott22 Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 I have for sale a manta 1800 sump and pipe. They have been chemically cleaned and look brand new. The pipe has been modified in accordance with the SBD website for use with an XE or LET engine. Ive ended up with 2 sumps so I would like my money back for this one. £220 + £10 p+p. Please no comments on the price, Im just asking what I payed for it. Thanks, Scott. 07598238122 Quote

opelscott22 Posted October 1, 2011 Author Posted October 1, 2011 Probably right. Seems if I want somthing it costs me a fortune, if I sell somthing its worth pennies. Quote
rutts Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 that seems to happen to me also. as paul says just put it on ebay. Quote
dog321fish Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 (edited) One sold on Ebay today for £228.00 + £12.00 p&p So your price is very fair, providing someone is looking to buy one! Ebay will have a larger audience than this site. Good luck with the sale. Edited October 1, 2011 by dog321fish Quote
mickappy Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 wait till theres non on ebay, i had two to sell. one went for just short of £300. that was only a couple of months ago. Quote

Dave Stampy Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Hello do you still have the sump for sale an will it fit a 3.2 v6 omega engine? Many thanks Quote
simon p Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Hello do you still have the sump for sale an will it fit a 3.2 v6 omega engine? Many thanks No. Quote
andyc Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 (edited) No it won't Dave as the four pot engine is longer that the V6. To get the V6 to sit in the manta bay you will need to have a bespokes one made Andy Edited February 9, 2012 by andyc Quote
Dave Stampy Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Ok cheers for the advice does anyone know where they could make me one? Quote
mantaray Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 the easyest option is to find a cavalier V 6 sump, as they are steel, and then get any welding shop to mod it for you. Or if you can find a good ally welder they could mod your omega sump. Are you nolonger selling the car? Quote
Retro Power Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 I can mod steel or ally one but I would need a drawing or the car to work from Quote
