Shug Posted April 7, 2012 Share Posted April 7, 2012 After cursing at my carbs for putting the fuel out the wrong whole on one carb, thought i better check the rocker. one was rather loose so took it off and checked the tappet which looks rather fooked! Bottom has worn/broken so wasnt opening the exhaust port so when the inlet opened it was compressed and blasted the fuel out rather than sucking it in. cam looks fine. So I am after a hydraulic tappet rather urgently. Im near strathpeffer just now but can travel inverness or about or north. Its for a 2.2 but I reckon the 2.0 ones will fit?
