opelmantagsi
one out of a 1.8 Manta might be the best option, different diff ratio than the 2.
mantaray
If it's to go into a chevette, then you need an A series axle. One from the later GTEs ect are 1" wider and your wheels may not fit.
opelmantagsi
I was lead to believe the Manta B / C one is very similar to the one fitted in the HSR Chevette or is used by guys doing a replica HSR Chevette yes its 25mm wider / longer overall so pushes wheels out 12.5mm each side Edited April 30, 2012 by opelmantagsi
bones
There are 3 different widths for these type axles, HS, Manta A and Manta B. I can measure a HS and Manta A axle for you tomorrow, there should be someone on the forum able to tell you Manta B length. I'll measure from backing plate to backing plate and let you know. opelmantagsi
I have measured the standard chevette and manta gte axle and I came up with 25mm was thinking of using the manta axle myself in my sons chevette but thats a future project
