ostec
I have various Manta A parts: Original, brand new (some surface rust), still in primer, never fitted, rear panel for Manta A ! I bought it new from Vauxhall/Opel in '84 to go on my '76 Berlinetta but never fitted it and it has been in my garage ever since. Some light fittings/lenses - at least one rear and one front indicator. Opel Wheel caps for Rostyles Twin Dellortos with polished inlet manifold - You will need new O rings, one choke is stuck but should free up and the linkage is a bit heath-robinson. Race distributor - no vacuum. And a custom made, Mountney steering wheel in solid brass with Tan Leather - complete with Boss for a Manta and horn push. A few other bits I will have to have a look. Pictures to come.

Joe
I'm Puzzled by Manta A and '76 Berlinetta. Do you mean Manta B or have you got the date of your Belinetta wrong (A's having ended in mid 1975)?
ostec
Hiya Yep, last of a breed. I had a P Reg (1 August 1975 – 31 July 1976) Berlinetta 1.9 in Bronze with Brown Vinyl and sunroof - the last of the '75 models registered in '76. The really special standard feature was that it was a pillar-less coupe, almost every other one I have seen, N reg '75 and before, has a roll cage in the roof. I used to take the back windows out altogether and wind down the fronts to give that classic pillar-less look. Stage 2 race head - from Ascona estate skimmed and polished to give 250-252 psi compression, Bored out 60 thou, high lift long duration Piper Magnum cam, race distie (no vacuum), lightened and balanced bottom end, twin dellortos, 4 into 2 into 1 manifold into single cherry bomb custom exhaust, uprated springs from the estate, alloy wheels from a B. Pioneer component stereo with twin 120watt amps - not much by todays standards I suppose. It was famous down Southend Seafront in the early 80s. My bronze and Pat's Black N reg parked up together - back in the days when cruising and drag racing up and down the seafront was harmless fun ?? These are bits from that car which have been sitting in my various garages since '87. Pictures, prices and location details coming next. ostec
My Location is Shepton Mallet in Somerset. I will take PayPal, cash or cheque (wait for clearing before shipping or collection) Prices do not include postage, i would prefer colection but I am happy to get a shipping cost if required. I have no idea how much this stuff should go for around here but I would love to see it put back into good use and help to save an old A. I am thinking along the lines of (Will listen to offers): £ 150 - rear panel/valance. Original GM part bought in '84 I think. Never fitted so no weld marks or damage, some surface rust but nothing structural. £ 150 - Twin Dellortos with input manifold (polsihed and ported) - fits 1.6, 1.9 and 2.0 CIH, it had a bit of re-engineering to fit around the termostat housing on my 1.9, I believe not a problem on the 2.0. £ 40 race distributor - no vacuum, 12 degree curve - i used this wil an optical electronic ignition system but it will work with points and condenser. £ ? 5 ? - 1 x Front indicator Lens £ ? 15 ? - 4 x rostyle centre caps £ ? 10 ? Door mirror with mount - missing the little clip though - I can't remember what side, can anyone advise ? The rear lights lenses - what are they ?? Not Manta ?? CAN ANYBODY ADVISE ? It is all dirty but not damaged - Spider webs come FOC. I am going to polish the steering wheel before posting the pictures.

ostec
I gave the Cntre caps a clean. No rust other than low on the insert where the wheel nut goes- scratched from the jack ?? The Mountney steering wheel was a one off job which I asked them to make for my Bronze '76 Manta A. Solid brass with Tan leather - a couple of scratches on the leather would be Tucsan'd to get the colour back. I am still thinking about a price for that - you could try to make me an offer ??
