stradacab
Reluctant sale of one of my restoration projects. I bought this last year with the romantic notion of restoring it as it is such a rare car but my GT/J project is going to be at least 2 years (and now a totally bare shell) and I have the SR hatch. I have realsied that my heart ruled head as I now have 2 projects ongoing and I'm at least two years away from it anyway. Manta 2.0 SR Berlinetta, registered Jan 1982 in special order black with beige interior. 4 speed manual and remarkably, for a late car, it does not have a sunroof. It is just before the facelift so has the plastic air cleaner and electronic ignition. The car spent its entire life in Cirencester registered to two different owners who lived in the same road. Will probably need some MOT welding, it is cosmetically "tatty" up close but it was garaged and stored for the last 5 years the car could be recommissioned as a summer smoker, but ideally needs full restoration. It is pretty much complete. When I had it delivered recommisisoned the brakes and drove it a short distance and can confirm it drives straight, pulls well, stops and the clutch is OK etc, etc. (If you want to know what a thing of beauty a black "B" coupe with chrome trim is like just take a look at James Sene's excellent example here! http://www.dep-o.co....ling07-070ajpg/) The car is located in Bristol just off J16 M5 and will (obviously) need to be trailered. It stands me in at £600 which is what I would really like to see back for it, any questions please pm me or email jamescoghlan@blueyonder.co.uk
stradacab
I have been out this morning and put a battery on and run it up and moved it. All OK. Washed it off and put a quick coat of polish on it to freshen it up as it hass been stood so thought I would post some pictures of it as it stands now. It doesn't look half bad! I have taken loads more so if you want all of them pm me and I'll forward them.
Rapierdave
Blimey James what a difference a few hours hard work polishing has made. That car will make a cracking project/on going resto for someone, good luck with the sale.
