399Road Posted August 27, 2012 Share Posted August 27, 2012 Thanks to all who attended this show. We had a really good day, met up with a lot of old friends and the cars gained a lot of attention. I think one of the Orange B's had come all the way down from Scotland and hope our meet/ display of cars were worth travelling this far for. Thanks especially to Mick, who's been the one sorting the tickets and bookings out. This was the first time I've seen Mick's car, since its recent full restoration and transformation and the results of his hard work looked stunning. As well as the Mantas, we had Paul's Monaro V8, Darren's Starlet 16V and Ian's mate's Mk1 Escort RS2000. You can see these cars in the background. There was another Manta A.series at this show and we spoke to its owner Richard. It's an Orange Luxus model and is from Chesterfield, near me. See you next time, Luke. By the way was there a charge for entering the show. If so let me know and I can send it to you. I am sure you said there was at some point.
