Kevin Abbott
Hi, I've a bolt in cage in my project. If I add extensions to it, ie, harness tube. Do I need to do it in CDS? Can I just use normal tube with the same diameter and wall thickness? Ta Kev
mantasrme
If you're not planning to do any form of motorsport then in theory you can use any tube you want. But for what its worth i'd use CDS every time, they spec it in rally cars for a reason and if the worst was to happen it might make the difference
lamchop77
Yep defo use CDS any other tube can split down the seam in an impact. Whatever the outside dia use a wall thickness of 2.5mm minimum. Cheers Chris
