I think this is the same one that sold on eBay last year and it was at Billing maybe 2011?. Rapierdave would probably remember.

If it this the same one it was a very solid car that needed the cosmetics, but a great basis for a light resto that would leave you with a very nice Ascona. To be fair the guy is honest in his descrition of it and I like the colour, it suits the car well.

Hope it makes good money as I have one and I like to see the values strengthening- they are brilliant cars that do everything a Manta does, give the same experience but are so rare by comparison.

Went for £1020 in the end.

I would say that's a pretty fair price for that car considering it had no MOT and would need a top half re-spray.

I agree with James i like the colour.

Do you remember it Dave? Is it teh same one?

I think it was maybe 6 or 700 when it sold last.

Good to see, lets be fair, a Cavalier in similar condition would struggle to 500

As we've always said Cavs sell for about half the price of Ascona's in a given condition.

It does appear that Ascona values are rising which is not bad in a recession.

It's also sad that Cavs are undervalued.

Now remind me when did you say you were selling your Ascona
