Jongould Posted June 20, 2013 Share Posted June 20, 2013 I am putting a V8 into my Manta B GTE and am thinking wider tyres, I was wondering if there were any stock axle swaps that would give me a narrower rear beam? I know I may have to tub the inner arches but that's no issue but I don't know If I want to chop the standard axle about. An LSD would also be a nice addition to the mix if possible This is not a definite mod yet, just testing the water to see what my options are... Retro Power Posted June 20, 2013 Share Posted June 20, 2013 If you are happy 4 linking it then using the 4ha axle gives good options. The jaguar (salisbury/dana) plate type diffs fit, they are incredibly strong, and they are available readily in two widths, one slightly less than the manta a axle and one slightly narrower than the b axle.
