taylorblue5 Posted July 10, 2013 Share Posted July 10, 2013 Had this problem before with my XE, oil pressure drops off the board and starves the topend. It was cured by fitting a new oil pressure release valve and new pump. This time is different as the pump was fine when the engine was in the other car, im just wondering if it has anything to do with my sump? It was cleaned and the pickup was also, just wondering if theres a reason it keeps triggering the release valve. Prob 2. My temp sensor decided it would be good to drop the car into limp home mode when getting a bit of a bootfull of throttle, iv changed it with spares but it keeps occuring and its starting to annoy me now.
