mantaboy89 Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Built a 2.2 motor but can't sort fueling system was going to fit a 2.0e head with single Webber 32/36 carb and 2.2 cam, is this going to drastically reduce the performance of the motor or should it be ok, not chasing massive power just want a cheap manta build out this month, so have to do it with what I have, will eventually run twin s.u carbs, any help on this subject much appreciated. lamchop77 Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 2.0 head on a 2.2 is ok. Comp ratio will actually be slightly higher as the 2.0 combustion chamber is smaller. If your using a Weber just use the matching cam from a 2.0 otherwise you will need to get it set up to get it running right. Use a 2.0 dizzy aswell. Hth Chris Quote
mantaboy89 Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 Will need the carb setting up anyway, so thought the 2.2 cam would be better for a couple of bhp.??? Quote
mantaboy89 Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 Also, anyone know if a 28/32 weber would do the job? Thanks Quote
lamchop77 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Don't know the cam details but I might have a 32/36 grab Weber off a pinto. I'll have a look!! Chris Quote

mantaboy89 Posted December 4, 2013 Author Posted December 4, 2013 Cheers bud, will try with the 2.2 cam and see how it goes, won't find out less I try I spose. Haha Quote
swebooy Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 The 2,0e cam will get you more bhp then the 2,2 cam. Quote
