I was going through some of the old topics on here a while ago and stumbled upon one about how Rastamandan had got a company to manufacture the voltage regulators for the manta/cav etc in a very nice black enclosure. Having contacted Dan directly it seems all his spares were sold.

So is there anyone on here with a stash of these things? All i'm after is one.

Cheers Dave, looking at the 3 items he has for sale none are cosmetically similar to what Dan had made. Did you get one of the other types that he currently has?

He tends to put them up for sale randomly, about once a month the last one he had up for sale in November 2013.

Send him a message through flea bay telling him you want a Opel Manta voltage stabilizer & does he have one.

do these fit on the back of the instrument panel and will it make my temp/fuel gauge work properly/

If the one on the car is faulty and you are replacing it with a good one, the answer is Yes.

Hi Martin,

Finally got round to clearing out my loft and found the remaining Voltage Stabilisers. For anyone that is interested I have 7 Voltage Regulators left.

The guy that made the batch for me a few years back still sells stabilisers via eBay (item number: 281582253867), although with a slightly different design. He sells them for £12 inc p+p.

If anyone is interested I'm going to sell off the seven I have.

£8 each plus £2 postage (max 3 units per order)

Can't find the thread I made for these years ago, but I've linked the photos below.
