robah
Hi I am looking for a Brake Distribution Valve for a Manta GTE standard Servo setup. I am unsure if mine is faulty as the rear brakes stay on when pedal is depressed. It is the valve that sits on the L/H chassis rail. Snowy
It could also be the rear flexi hose collapsing internally causing it to act as a one way valve.
mantasrme
I have a couple of them laying around as i normally remove them and run without it. You can have one for the price of postage, or if you're not in a hurry i can get it across your way to Rutts as he's coming across to me sometime soon They are actually a load limiting valve for the rear brakes, when the brake pressure gets above a certain amount it lowers the rear pressure to stop the rear brakes from locking up. Never had a problem locking the rears with this removed with any front brakes, and discs or drums on the rear. Unless i pull the hydraulic handbrake of course

robah
Thanks for the replies guys. I have got new rear axle hoses, banjos and nuts arriving tomorrow. One of the guys in Germany told me about a damper valve in the master cylinder for the drum brakes, I should have removed it when fitting the rear discs. Gary I will send PayPal now, completely forgot.

Cheers for that Dave.
