Rapierdave
I suspect this very original Ascona will be bought by a local classic car dealer for around £2000 then put up for sale at £5000 +
Rapierdave
Sold for £1800 yesterday in auction at Castle Combe circuit. Went to view it on Friday, its a real time warp car with 50,000 miles on the clock & is an early one being registered in Nov 1975 one owner from new (Gloucester registration) Overall in good condition with tax till Oct & MOT till March 2015. Main problem were micro rust blisters over the roof due to possibly being stored under a damp cover, also the nearside swan neck shows signs of rust. Other than that it looked a very good original car, i hope it went to a good home. Does any one know what the colour is ? Here are some pics i took. stradacab
No drivers door mirror and vinyl seats. Very poverty spec! Looks like a very nice car with lots of potential. Hope it has gone to a good home but a dealer could turn a nice profit on that with a bit of detailing and some nice pictures and write up
