611
This is not so much tech help needed but my solution (i hope!) for getting the front exhaust pipe right so i can get the pipe bent to fit :-) And after seeing all of those pictures Derek (opelmantagsi) posts of how he solves his problems i thought he might like this :-) Im taking it to the pipe bending place next week after i have made the next section so will update this with the outcome and pictures of the stainless pipe if they can bend it!! opelmantagsi
Bending stainless is going to be a challenge, nothing wrong with a fully segmented offset rather than bending, My boys is getting some turbo induction pipe done at the moment using that technique, but below is his turbo down pipe made from stainless. (for inspiration purposes) For a template a gas welding rod bent up also works well, following the center line of the pipe, but what you have done there is very good and lets you get a real feel for where the pipe will sit. old-school methods there my friend, nice work Edited October 5, 2014 by opelmantagsi

611
very nice work. Im going to try the bending route as they guys did my over the axel section from one piece and it is awsome and fits great, so lets hope they can do these bits. I know what you mean with the rod but i did need to get a proper feel for how it would fits as its vey tight on the A with the roll bar at the back so not much room for movement! As im not doing the welding myself the other way would have taken ages and probably cost a packet! I will post how i get on as soon as i have seen the piper bending guys.
