Manta Roll Cage

For sale for one of my customers,

This is a 6 point roll cage with diagonal and door bars.

I think its a Safety Devices cage (certainly looks exactly like the one in my rally car)

 

Someone has added a horizontal harness bar at the back and drilled holes through it to bolt eyelets to (this wants removing as the welding is very poor and that's not how harnesses are attached to a cage)

 

The cage was welded into a rotten coupe shell and the shell has been cut around the feet to remove the cage, so the mounts will need cutting off/grinding down to fit to the next car.

Also the cage was fitted to a sunroof equipped car so the cage was sat too low and the rear legs have had the feet chopped off and the legs shortened slightly to get it in

This can be fixed either by  building the shell mounting up a little higher or extending the legs again by the use of slugs inside the cage and new tubing.
