Gte Fuel Tank Sender

Hi guy's. Anyone know what the ohm's readings are for the fuel tank sender unit for my manta gte coupe, is it anywere between 0-280 ohms.

Check in the Haynes Manual "To check tank sender unit place a 40 ohm resistor between the sender unit wire and earth ,Turn on ignition on will show FULL position ,if the gauge works when earth out,then he sender unit is at fault (chapter10 )Inthe past have just earth the wiring out to check out dash clocks..Hope this helps
