Kevin Abbott Posted April 5, 2015 Share Posted April 5, 2015 (edited) Looks good Daz. You don't have a lot of space to work with and that looks wide. Does it fit in the housing without showing at the sides too? Springs I got from eBay. 7.1mm OD and a wire diameter of .8 mm should give an ID of 5.5 to fit over the M5 bolt The standard spring length is 25mm but the top one may need making shorter as it's tight because the nut adds about 5mm to the distance between housing and light unit Edited April 5, 2015 by Kevin Abbott Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Daza Posted April 6, 2015 Author Share Posted April 6, 2015 I' seen nylon pan head screws on ebay, or even a stainless pan head screw,,. that would reduce any overhang that you get with a bolt.
