davo Posted April 11, 2015 Share Posted April 11, 2015 At the risk of sounding stupid, how can you tell the difference between a1800 box & a 2.0 box I got a redtop with a 5 speed box on the bench & the number stamped on it at the rear is the same as that on the gearbox of a 2.0 gte I got ! I now have mixed feelings I had a box of spares I brought a while ago was told it a 5 speed CIH box turns out it's a 1800 box -result £££££!!!!!! But I gotta do the clutch on my centaur so was going to upgrade to a five speed box only it turns out I've not got one !!!
