Jimmytesco
Hey all. I've put a mante gte engine into my Chevette and need to wire up the 3 pin dizzy to module etc as can't source a loom :-(. Anyone any idea how to do this? I have a diagram but unsure as to what wires go where on the dizzy 3 pins Many thanks. Jim
paulmanta
You only need a little "sub loom" to link the dizzy and coil and ignition module together, I think I might have one spare here if you don't have one. You then just join the + to it and earth it out, if you have a rev counter you T off the green wire.

mantadoc
If wired like most points cars....... Nip the translucent resistance wire off against the terminal, leaving the terminal on the black wire (if there is a translucent yellow / orange and black crimped in the same terminal) and insulate the cut end. The black is usually a 12V while cranking from starter solenoid to ensure good power under cranking and don't forget to add another ignition position 2 live to power the coil pack / amp when key on and engine not cranking (run position)
