opelman Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 The rear of my manta GTE in 1" higher on the nearside than the offside, I've just had both springs out which are standard ride height and each measures the same length, any ideas please ? Whilst 1" doesn't sound like much difference it is visually very obvious Quote
manta88 Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 If the car has gas shock's ,one may have lost the gas causing it to drop on one side. Quote
upk Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Make sure they are seated correctly in the rubbers top and bottom and located in bottom pan in correct orientation. Quote
eldoradoCoupe Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 If the axle has been repaired that could be problem - if a rotten springcup has been welded up it could be forcing the spring to sit higher. Quote
cam.in.head Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Also check front springs are ok cause a low front corner can cause the rear opposite corner to lift up. Quote
