To dip or not to dip

When i finally get round to my GT i will do both. First it will be blasted, then all the metal work will be done. Once this is done it will go off to SPL to be dipped and E coated.

This will mean that when the shell comes back it will be as new, i have used SPL and would again.

I have seen the results of a SPL dip and i think it looks savage and i have heard stories of the chemicals 'bleeding out' of seem after the car is restored ruining the the finnish and needing a complete strip down and starting again.

 Have a look into soda blasting, this has become popular so the results must be good.
