I remember someone that sold a genuine manta 400 from that period aswell but I,m sure it was a narrow arch and he sold it for £7.500 it was in the gobowen oswestry area. I must admit its mind blowing to think a 400 sold for £3500 even back then. With that in mind, I would say the ex works ascona is a better buy compared to the 55k road going 400 on ebay at the moment. Because with the ascona your getting a heck of a lot more for money being ex works,having said that there all rare so no matter.
