Hello everyone.

I'm João Paulo, from Portugal and I'm the proud owner of a Opel Kadett C Coupe with a 1.2S engine (for now).
The car has been mine since I got my driver's license, and has been in my family since I was 1 year old (27 years now).

My father brought it from Netherlands and kept it as his daily driver until early 2000's.

That's the car where I've learned how to drive and mess around in roundabouts and slide in corners.
The original engine has now nearly 450.000 miles, and counting - since it's my daily driver -, with no need to interventions besides oil and filter change and other minor maintenance.

I believe there is a problem, yes. I willl try to post the direct links instead. It seems I can't upload them here directly.

I plan to keep the car for many years. Right now I'm gathering all the required parts to swap the engine to a 2.4 CIH. Not going for any DOHC to keep it as close to it's original state as possible

By the way, if by any means anyone knows where I can find a Kadett C GT/E front anti roll bar (or a ARB from another model that fits) it would be very appreciated!

Yes, we have a few really good lookin Manta's around here.
Some are found pretty rusted here and there, but we have amazing things like these:
