halley cockburn
Hi there can anyone give me advise on removing an old radiator , as my old one has black rubber type bush at side ,of radiator and wonder if i just lever the rubber off and reveal a nut or bolt thanks
Snowy
If you look at the bottom of the radiator, from underneath the car, you will see a support with a 13my headed nut. Undo this, the top and bottom hose and it will pull out.
Snowy
Ignore the two rubber supports on the sides.

MANTAMAN
Carefull with the bottom nut, it is on a stud that is part of a bonded rubber mount, if you apply a lot of force to a rusty nut (very likely rusty due its postition) instead of unscrewing the nut the rubber with seperate, (this may have happened anyway with age) I don't know where you can get a replacement rubber mount. Snowy
You can buy them from any decent factors or kit car supplier such as car builder solutions
D85CGV
Hello Halley. Not been in the forum for a wee while I saw your reply to the Manta in Helensburgh and that you're in Edinburgh. I also spotted you were looking for a radiator. I have one if you're still interested. I'm in Edinburgh are regularly so could pop through with it if needed. Cheers Davy
