Thebishop
Hi lads just looking for more advice on how to improve power in my manta. It's a stock original 1.8 engine . Thanks in advance
Snowy
Fit an 18E cylinder head, or if you don't mind modifying your original inlet manifold an 18SE cylinder head. Change the carburetor for a Weber 32/36 dgv/dgav. Or go twin carbs? But you'll never see huge gains on the 18S engine.
rutts
1.8e head and cam, twin forties with 34mm chokes, four branch exhaust and two inch system, Rev like hell almost same power as a standard xe. Best to use a 2.0 8 valve bottom end pull like a train.
