Thebishop Posted April 21, 2016 Share Posted April 21, 2016 Hi lads as title say I'm looking for a induction kit for my 1985 manta 1.8 is it the same kit as for the 2.0 manta? And when fitting is it just the front of airbox incl filter or the whole unit incl what sits up on th e cars that needs to be removed. mantasrme Posted April 22, 2016 Share Posted April 22, 2016 There isn't an induction kit for the 1.8 as such due to it being a carb'd engine. They only do induction kits for injection. Only thing for a 1.8 is a filter that bolts to the top of the carb with chrome top etc. Problem is that there is so little room between carb and bonnet that it has to be a very low filter which is hard to find nowadays. To be honest the original filter housing with a decent panel filter in will be better for performance than any aftermarket one. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
