I would imagine there would be a high demand for that if anyone is thinking about it like me.

Does anyone know the exact amount of material required for a retrim.someone that's already had theirs done perhaps would know.

Just bought some I'll report back when it arrives. I've got brand new Daytona check seats for my project (a lucky find) but this looks very good quality and a handy spare  to have :thumbup

There's a story? How did you find them?

I found them by chance. They were still in sealed packaging ( 2 fronts only I don't have new rears but they were already good) and in the possession of a chap about to fit them to a VW camper van that didn't know what they were! Luckily I got to them first! :thumbup

Yeah your looking at 2 mtrs to do the centers as the original, then the other material to make up the rest of the seat area.

Hope that helps.:thumbup:blink:

Nice find on the material.. I would say nice find on Dave's front seats, but I'm far too jealous!! Feeling sick in fact..

..but still happy for you bro :thumbup

{name your price..name your price}

Anyway. I take it that pretty much any upholsterer could source a close match of the black corduroy material that commonly wears out on the bolsters?

i think you would be cutting it fine at 2 MTRS  you would have to allow a slight bit to get the pattern to match on  8 cuts

nearly £90 a MTR

1.5 M wide cut into quarters off the 1m length for the front, then the same again for the second mtr on the back seats, job done gary

Although I quess it wouldn't hurt to have an extra mtr in reserve just incase, but at £90 a go....

Has anyone had a repair / replacement bolster done on one of these yet? If so, how much did it cost?

Have been struggling to match the black cord material (Even checked John Lewis!) , and the one quote I had so far was so expensive he may have misheard Opel manta for Aston Martin...
