stradacab
Should be a type 400 but just after they changed to a Phillips 752 which was from 87 on (ish) go for that as it has FM
Rapierdave
I have fitted a modern unit to My Ascona its a Sony unit with no CD drive so is not very deep & fits flush. Also has USB input for memory stick. http://www.argos.co.uk/product/6088174 Even the original Phillips units with cassette players will require the extension housing
TheRealExile
I managed to get what I think is the right one for my 84 Coupe which is the 232, it's only a radio but I kind of like it, it's got longwave for the Cricket unlike my stupid modern works car! I have also seen a few of these modified so you can connect up an mp3 etc and it's only a tiny input which would hardly be noticeable for anyone wanting to keep the original look.
