Melsymonds77 Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 Selling my Manta. It has an ongoing issue with overheating and I am about to move abroad so I don't have the time to look into the problem any further. My mechanic has worked on the radiator, fuel pump, water pump but the issue isn't solved, may be something more serious as the next step is to take apart the engine. The car itself is in fair condition for its age, a few spots of rust on the bonnet and rear wheel arch but nothing too serious, underneath is solid. Interior is in good condition. Looking for a quick sale before I leave, this will make a good project for someone who has the time and space. I am open to sensible offers for anyone who wants to come look at the car. Its in Hackney, East London. Please contact me for pictures or for more info Quote
Dimpas Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Do you have funny ( high ) petrol tank readings too ??? If yes the problem is on the voltage regulator. The temp and tank gauges works with 10Volts by a regulator. If it fails then you have both hight readings Quote
