Monaco Blue
This one looks to be the real deal as they say! The interior looks almost brand new. Top Dollar at £6K but perhaps worth it. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/mk1-cavalier-2-0-sport-hatch-1980-only-59000mls-from-new-1-owner-fsh-no-rust/352363141904?hash=item520a7adb10:g:i1EAAOSwBXhbBnbi "......Here for sale is my mk1 cavalier 2.0 sport hatch, been garaged all its life, Only covering 59000 mls with with full vauxhall history whilst been on the road, This car was put away for 19 years and not driven on the road but still maintained, I got it out last year and motd it, it passed with no advisorys, This car was supplied new in 1980 from franklynns of haywards heath and still has its original registration plates, and always serviced, comes with original service book, This is probably the best one left and drives excellent...." Ems
Nice car, same colour and spec as the first one I got 30 years ago - but much better condition than the one I had!
Berlinetta
Very nice! It would probably cost a lot more than that if you were to set about restoring a rough example. Two (minor) observations - - Is the steering wheel a bit 'shiny' for the mileage? - Non-original radiator? Overall a great example with original-looking paintwork and shut lines.
cam.in.head
Yes defeinately seems a good car and as you say needs the rad changing for a correct metal 2 litre one. Never liked the plastic tank type and the hoses not in right place.
